I used to be fat myself, so I know what I am saying here:
The weight did not pile on over night, so why is everyone looking for a quick fix on this site? There is no quick fix. The only way to lose weight and leave it off is by making some drastic changes in your lifestyle, such as cutting out sugary snacks and replacing them with healthier ones, exercising more, and eating only half of what’s on the plate. If you want a quick fix-that’s out there, yes, but guess what? The pounds will pile on even worse once you get off whatever diet you are on. And all those wonder drugs–from acai berry to prescription chemicals do require that you take up an exercise program and a sensible diet. There is no quick fix to lose weight. Even bariatric surgery which is performed to have one lose weight won’t work–you lose the weight in a hurry all right, but then you got to run around with all that flab because the skin could not recover fast enough. And worst of all, bariatric surgery will only do for you in the first year–after that you are actually on your own.
So why do all these people look for a "fast" weight loss? If you ate the wrong foods only a few times you would not need a quick fix–if you eat the wrong food all the time then you got to change the way you eat to get the weight down. It’s often not how much people eat, but what they eat that makes them fat…………..
I am an 18 year old female and am overweight. Ive tried everything to lose weight and nothing works. Will I lose weight if all I drink is 1 weight loss protein shake a day and drink lots of water. The shake only has 150 calories. (Maybe an apple for snack also). How fast will I lose weight?

college. stress, so much work. i am a pharmacy student. extrememly stressed out. i have lost 20 lbs since september.
would like to lost about 50 lbs in the next years time. i am 220, 5′ 10”, big boned, weight distributed on lower body and arms, not so much torso.

I have a friend that is somewhat jealous of the mail that I write in Yahoo however, I have been telling her the object of her jealousy is out of my control. For some reason, when I compose letters the columns come out uniformly neat and skinny much like a newspaper column while when she writes in Yahoo mail, her lines are written in wide dimensions or what she coins as "being fat". I told her that a quick column weight loss could be achieved by going into Options and setting the line width to a lesser number, however, upon going there, she found that her widths are set to the same as mine. She is quite upset about this and has been reduced to performing manual carriage returns at the end of each of her lines to create that skinny effect that’s natural for me. Can you help her achieve this small but meaningful dream of setting her columns to skinny dimensions? There shouldn’t be a difference in Yahoo Mail programs if it’s web-based, in my opinion, so I’m out of ideas. Thanks.
my sister in law is going to spend 100 euros on eletric current weight loss with 20 sessions.. suppose to make you lose 3-4 inches where you want it… but I don’t think it would really work…. which do you think will work faster in two months, 20 sessions of eletric currents, or two months of strict diet and exercise?
Hi, I am 14 years old, 144 pounds, and I am currently 5 foot 1. I really want to lose 15 pounds in 1 month for about 2 or 3 months. I lost 20 pounds in a month at fat camp. And I understand that it was a program designed specifically for quicker weight loss, but I would like to try anyway. I eat a yogurt or a serving of special K cereal for breakfast, a luna bar for lunch, and then when I get home from school I have a small snack (smoothie, pretzel, ect.) but recently I just cannot get past this number on the scale. Oh and dinner really varies from day to day, but I try to keep it under 300 calories. I also exercise every day, I burn 300 to 400 calories by taking a walk with my dog. I also have lacrosse practice twice a week. But, nothing is working! I want an easy diet that will help me to lose 10 to 15 pounds per month so I can be ready for summer in 4 or 5 months. So, by the end of 3 months, maybe I can be about 110, which is my reccomended weight. I have talked to my doctor and she said that this is a realistic goal so don’t get all self righteous, I know what I"m doing. Being a middle schooler, and a girl, I have a lot of pressure and I just want to be skinny. 10 PINTS FOR BEST ANSWER!!! THANKS IN ADVANCE <3 pa sorry if this was like reaaaallly long ![]()

I’m in college at a school where the food isn’t exactly great and we have a required meal plan that features half a cup of green beans that has 13 GRAMS OF FAT in them. So, dieting here is relatively difficult.
I’m a pescatrian, which means I only eat fish, not red meat. Some times I’ll eat chicken if there is not a better option. I’m fairly healthy, but I really want to lose about 20 lbs.
I’m not all muscle, but I’m not entirely lazy, I walk a lot.
Eating habits: right now I don’t eat a lot at all. 2 meals or so and a bit of snacking
So, all that being said: Does anyone have any suggestions for weight loss? I can’t afford to buy my own food all the time. And I have no where to cook it.
Also, I come from a generally big family. is that a factor to weight loss at all?
