I am an 18 year old female and am overweight. Ive tried everything to lose weight and nothing works. Will I lose weight if all I drink is 1 weight loss protein shake a day and drink lots of water. The shake only has 150 calories. (Maybe an apple for snack also). How fast will I lose weight?
Eat breakfast and dinner. Chew gum between meals. Exercise by playing ddr everyday until you have reached at least 700 calories. Drink nothing but water. If i get hungry between meals have an apple.

Hi, I am 14 years old, 144 pounds, and I am currently 5 foot 1. I really want to lose 15 pounds in 1 month for about 2 or 3 months. I lost 20 pounds in a month at fat camp. And I understand that it was a program designed specifically for quicker weight loss, but I would like to try anyway. I eat a yogurt or a serving of special K cereal for breakfast, a luna bar for lunch, and then when I get home from school I have a small snack (smoothie, pretzel, ect.) but recently I just cannot get past this number on the scale. Oh and dinner really varies from day to day, but I try to keep it under 300 calories. I also exercise every day, I burn 300 to 400 calories by taking a walk with my dog. I also have lacrosse practice twice a week. But, nothing is working! I want an easy diet that will help me to lose 10 to 15 pounds per month so I can be ready for summer in 4 or 5 months. So, by the end of 3 months, maybe I can be about 110, which is my reccomended weight. I have talked to my doctor and she said that this is a realistic goal so don’t get all self righteous, I know what I"m doing. I have been doing turbo jam every day except saturdays, since August 1 2006. I do 45 minutes of cardio everyday and add strength training 3 days a week at night. I also eat under 1200 calories a day and drink plenty of water including Crystal Light. Sometimes when I look in the mirror, I look smaller in the chest area but then other times i look the same size. I just wanted to know if there are other people out there who have lost weight doing what I have been doing and how fast did they lose weight and also what are the first fat areas to disappear?

I have come across a site that sells fast weight loss pills. And am in two mind whether to buy them or not. The adverts and "customer" feedback make it seem real and that it does what it says (increases your motabolism, causing you to burn off more calories faster)

I am 27 years old my weight has always went up and down but I have been losing weight and can’t stop. I have anxiety and I did switch my birth control pills a few months back. I am 5 ft and weigh 115-116 pounds (8.3/4 stone), i have always wanted to be thin and i have just had enough of my weight i can’t stop thinking about it and i feel so insecure all the time. I currently eat 1000 calories a day but i want to know how many I should eat to drastically lose weight – i don’t care about my health or being hungry. I would like to weigh around 90 pounds. I am trying to loose weight, and I am thinking of rewarding myself with something nice (non-food related) at certain points in my weight loss journey. I am eating smaller, more frequent portions. I am working on increasing healthy food intake and exercise, and decreasing junk. (I have eliminated soda-diet and non-diet). My exercise, for now, will mostly consist of walking.
Each goal is basically a 10% weight loss goal. However, the difference between goals 3 and 4 are less than 10%. If I went with the 10% goal I would be at 118 lbs.
I may stop at goal 3 though, or somewhere between goals 3 and 4.
How long would it take to reach each goal simply using a diet of more whole grains, less fried foods, more greens, more water, and gradually working up an exercise routine? No fancy programs (with the exception of Weight Watchers to help make quick and easy choices).
Are these realistic weight loss goals to have?

I cut out sugary beverages-going from up to 5,000 calories a week (sometimes more) in beverages to drinking only water and skim milk.
That is about an average of 714 calories less per week. I have not changed my diet much in any other way. I am working on slowly making other modifications to my diet and exercise habits.
